Hi, I’m Finn!

Where did I start?

I’ve been working in the wedding industry since before I had a driver’s license. My father is a SoCal based wedding videographer of twenty years. Starting when I was around 14 he would let me tag along to weddings as his assistant (a.k.a. equipment hauler), and eventually assisted in the actual videography and editing processes as well. Getting to capture the joy on every couples face as all their planning came to fruition was such a privilege.

Professionally, I have been working in events and entertainment for about nine years. I studied stage management in a BFA program at Utah Valley University and got my first real gig as a stage manager in 2017. Over the years I worked at many community and regional level theaters in the greater Salt Lake area. Theater was truly a passion job for me, I loved every second of being one of the behind the scenes cogs that made the show go off without a hitch. I found purpose and clarity in the hustle and bustle leading up to an event or a show, making sure every detail was accounted for and nothing was overlooked. The reward of seeing an event come together at the end of a planning process is, to me, unmatched.

How did I get get back to weddings?

My first foray into running weddings came in 2022 when a former director and dear friend of mine came to me in a panic six months before his wedding and said, "Finn, there is SO much to think about and decide. I can’t keep it all straight. Will you stage manage my wedding for me?” I told him of course, I’d do anything to help a friend out on their wedding day! (Plus it was the perfect wedding gift, lol.) The event turned out beautifully, and I was absolutely in my element helping facilitate every part of the process. Multiple guests asked if I ran weddings professionally and that was when the idea for Nottingham Wedding & Events was born.

How long have I been running weddings?

I have been been coordinating weddings now for about three years. I am passionate about finding details that highlight each individual, and bringing those elements together into a cohesive celebration that reflects the couple as a whole. I am eager to help you plan the day of your dreams, and to let you step back and truly enjoy the celebration that you’ve spent so long putting together.

Where am I located?

My wife and I moved to Eugene, OR, in 2024. We are obsessed with Oregon so far and are planning to stick around for a while.

  • Finn did the videography for my wedding and they were fantastic to work with! I love my wedding video so much. They were able to capture all the key moments of the night and put them all in one place for us.

  • Our wedding simply wouldn’t have worked without Finn. From start to finish, their professionalism and calm presence kept everything seamless, and they handled all the logistics so we could actually enjoy the day and focus on each other. Just before the ceremony, they took us aside for a quiet moment to connect and breathe and spoke with us about any anxieties or worries we still had, which they reassured us of. This allowed us to actually be in the moment during the ceremony instead of worried about anything else.
